Kennett Square-Based Bernardon Wins Award for Its Work on Saint-Gobain Headquarters

Kennett Square-based Bernardon – a full-service architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture firm with additional offices in Philadelphia and Wilmington – has received a Merit Award from the Delaware Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for the Core and Shell for the Saint-Gobain and CertainTeed North American headquarters.
The jury commended the project team on this “dramatic transformation” and said the design was “quite clever and subtle about keeping existing elements yet bringing aspects of the existing building forward.”
It also recognized the key role landscape design played in enhancing the building and “optimizing a healthy workplace.”
