Niche.com has released its 2017 List of the Best Places to Live in America, and out of the more than 15,000 towns and neighborhoods in the United States, a Chester County locale came in second place.
According to the rankings – which account for crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities, and local amenities – only Carmel, Ind., is a better place to live than Chesterbrook.

With a population of 4,478, Chesterbrook’s median home value is $302,200, and the median household income is $108,072, more than twice the national average. Furthermore, the schools in the Tredyffrin-Easttown School District are the cream of the crop.
In terms of the Best Suburbs to Live in Philadelphia, Devon ranks third, while Charlestown Township rates fifth.
