The Community Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive, sponsored jointly by the United Way of Chester County and the Chester County Food Bank, took in a whopping 2.5 tons of the popular sandwich fixings on Friday!
Leading the collection charge were the Matt Gorham Group of Keller Williams with 694 pounds collected, followed by Paoli Hospital with 614 lbs. Citadel’s team (pictured below) placed third in the collections total with 485 lbs. donated.
The first of its kind event encouraged organizations across the county to collect the sandwich spreads to fill the Food Bank’s shelves with the easily stored and high-protein lunchtime staple.

The 694 lbs. of PB&J Matt Gorham and his team collected and donated were enough to win the coveted Peanut Butter Cup as the event’s top contributor.
