The NFL’s biggest game hasn’t even started yet, and the blitzes are already coming — on new televisions at your favorite electronics retailer.

The Super Bowl deserves a super screen, and the deals for a new one are just as tempting as the ones on Black Friday, according to Chester Springs-based electronics trade group Azione Unlimited in a Philadelphia Inquirer report by Jonathan Takiff.

“It’s a great time and motivator for consumers to upgrade their TVs,” Azione Unlimited Chairman Richard Glikes said. “While you won’t find the crazy loss leaders of Black Friday, the TV deals for better sets are equally good right now. Sony has cut our set prices 10 percent — on TVs that don’t have much of a profit margin to start with.”
