Chester County received a coveted seat of honor next to President Donald Trump during a recent meeting with the nation’s leading sheriffs.

“It was wonderful. He was very open and very gracious,” said Chester County Sheriff and National Sheriffs’ Association Executive Committee Member Carolyn “Bunny” Welsh in a Philadelphia Inquirer report by Michaelle Bond.

Welsh was one of 10 sheriffs who received a chance to bend the president’s ear, and she expressed appreciation for his support of law enforcement.

“America’s sheriffs are at the tip of the spear in dealing with border security, and are greatly encouraged that much-needed solutions to solve illegal immigration challenges are at the top of the agenda,” the organization announced after the meeting.
