While Donald Trump’s business success has bankrolled much of his Republican-leading campaign, recent Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has tapped a vast network of Democratic donors both locally and statewide to propel her party-leading pursuit of the Oval Office.

Of the $2.8 million in donations the former First Lady has collected statewide, $110,000 has come from Chester and Montgomery counties, according to a Phoenixville Patch report by Justin Heinze.

And much of that $110,000 has poured in from 24 individuals who’ve given the legal maximum $2,700 to a single candidate, per Federal Election Commission regulations.

The two from Phoenixville who have maxed out their support are Sandra Rabena and Kim Cermak, the article noted.

The fundraising is a crucial component to her campaign leading up to next week’s pivotal and potentially defining Super Tuesday lineup of caucuses and primary elections.

Those Chester County supporters will watch as much of the nation makes its preferences known, and then Pennsylvania will have its say during the primaries on April 26.
