brandywine-hospital-logoThe Brandywine Hospital, located on an 85-acre campus in Coatesville, is a 169-bed facility with a full range of inpatient, outpatient, medical and surgical, diagnostic, and emergency care. The hospital also offers bariatric surgery for weight loss, adult and older adult behavioral health, robotic-assisted surgery, and an eating-disorders unit. Brandywine employs more than 200 healthcare professionals.

Accountant

This position prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. He/she analyzes trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. The person reports on the organization’s finances to management and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, and have two to four years of experience in the field. The person will be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting realm.

PACS/RIS Administrator

This position plans and implements the picture archiving and communication systems policies, procedures, and services in a medical facility. He/she develops the process of medical picture production, archiving, and transmitting. The person ensures that the picture archiving and communication system meet diagnostic requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience in a related field. He/she will be familiar with a variety of radiological concepts, practices, and procedures. The person will lead and direct the work of others.

Rad Technologist

This position coordinates patients for radiological examinations, and procures radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems. He/she prevents patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. The person follows instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree and registration as a technologist by the ARRT. He/she will have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field. The person will have zero to two years of experience.
