Election battles are being waged all across the state, and Chester County is very much on the front lines.

“Among the Philadelphia suburbs, a key to Pennsylvania victory for either nominee, it’s the only county where Republicans hold an edge,” a Philly.com report by Jeff Gammage stated.

And that’s bringing out volunteers and voters on both sides.

“Here, it’s a swing state, and my vote obviously counts,” California transplant Vikram Sahni said in the article.

Pennsylvanians seem acutely aware that their state, “is a crucial battleground, a state some say could tip the race. Atop the election pyramid are the nominees whose every movement becomes news. At the bottom, mostly unseen and anonymous, are the people who actually shape politics, energize campaigns and make elections happen: the volunteers, poll workers, organizers, civil servants, third-party promoters and undecided voters taking steps to inform their decision.”
