Program Director
This position will be responsible for delivery and management of short-term consulting assignments and long-term grant-making and international development programs on behalf of clients. He/she will manage a large portfolio of grants, research, and technical assistance to approximately 40 partners in anti-slavery and anti-human trafficking programs in Ethiopia, Nepal, and/or India.
As a Program Director you will:
- Work with clients to design, implement, monitor, and evaluate international development and anti-slavery programs.
- Complete program design through landscape studies, baselines, desk reviews, site visits, etc.
- Develop and write pitch documents and program strategies that are client-ready.
- Set up field offices and hire in-country consultants as needed.
- Identify and vet grantee-partners using Geneva Global’s proprietary due diligence system.
- Create monitoring, evaluation, and learning plans; collect, compile, and review partners’ progress reports, including financial reviews and validation of data results.
- Prepare narrative, financial, and impact data reports to the client.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and have at least seven years of progressive, relevant work experience, including three to five years of management and supervisory experience. He/she should have experience in related international development issues. Experience as a grant-maker is preferred.
