There isn’t a better mid-size energy utility to work for in the entire country than the one right here in Chester County. Innovative and rewarding, PECO topped the category in Forbes’ 2016 list of America’s Best Mid-Size Employers.

best“At PECO, we drive innovation and foster a culture of teamwork so our employees can work more creatively to better serve our customers and communities,” President and CEO Craig Adams said of the accolade. “Our ongoing commitment to engage and empower our employees has resulted in people who don’t just fill jobs but build careers.”

The electricity and natural gas utility for Chester County and beyond, which is part of the larger Exelon family of companies, also ranked second among all mid-size employers in Greater Philadelphia and No. 72 nationwide.

And PECO isn’t just looking out for its employees or customers; last year its 2,400-person workforce set a new company record of 15,000 volunteer hours served at more than 150 local nonprofit organizations.
