(L to R) Film maker Greg Koorhan, Board Member David Hoopes, and festival sponsors from The Rittenhouse Group at Morgan Stanley Sherri and Michael DiMenna during 2015's closing night party.

Following the credits from a record lineup of international short films and anticipating a memorable debut at the new Uptown! Entertainment Alliance theater next year, the call has gone out for another showing of perspective-altering cinematic vision.

The West Chester Film Festival is now open to submissions, and the windows for entries will remain open until the Dec. 31 deadline. This year 75 short films were submitted for inclusion by filmmakers from as far away as Japan, Austria and South Africa.

Next year’s West Chester International Short Film Festival, the 13th annual, is scheduled to take place April 28-30.

Film festival entries are being accepted in several categories: young filmmaker, drama, comedy, documentary, animation, art or experimental, student drama, student comedy, student animation, student documentary and student art or experimental.
