Devon Horse Show Sued Over Denied Skybox Ownership

The 120th Devon Horse Show kicked off with controversy after it was hit with a lawsuit from the former Vice President of the Hospitality Committee who is claiming that show officials wrongfully took back the skybox she had legally acquired for $20,000 in April 2012. Penn Valley resident, Trish Hueber, is seeking her original $20,000 back, as well as the $7,500 paid in maintenance fees over the years, and up to $50,000 in other costs and legal fees.

Philly Union’s Taylor Washington Talks Fitness at St. Agnes School in West Chester

As part of his final year of a program from the Independence Blue Cross Foundation on healthy eating, proper sleeping, and staying fit, Philadelphia Union’s Taylor Washington visited St. Agnes School in West Chester to teach students the importance of healthy eating and staying active. The program was a response to a 2010 study conducted by the Public Health Management Association which showed that over 40 percent of children between the ages of 6 and 12 in Southeastern Pennsylvania are obese or overweight.

Two People Injured in Plane Crash at New Garden Flying Field

After losing altitude at New Garden Flying Field, a 1940s-era airplane crashed yesterday morning, colliding with a hangar and injuring the two men inside the two-seater aircraft. Both men involved in the crash were transported to Christiana Hospital in Stanton, and are reported to be in stable condition after suffering non-life threatening injuries.
