Malvern Federal Savings Bank announced on Monday, that banking veteran William J. Boylan has been appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer.

In his new role, Boylan will be in charge of all aspects of the bank’s lending business in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Prior to his new appointment, Boylan was the Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of Malvern Federal’s New Jersey Division.

The Bank continues to expand the Malvern brand along Pennsylvania’s Main Line and in our New Jersey markets. Bill understands both markets and the lending needs of consumers and businesses alike.”

Malvern Federal Savings Bank, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Malvern Bancorp, Inc., plans to fully open its New Jersey headquarters at 163 Madison Avenue in Morristown in June. The bank has also recently recruited a private banking associate to deal specifically with commercial lending and private banking clients in New Jersey.

“Our Morristown office is in a perfect location to service our clients with the superior, personalized service that is Malvern,” said Boylan, adding that part of Malvern Federal’s private banking approach is to provide banking by appointment, giving customers the opportunity to schedule a meeting with financial professionals at a time that best suits them.

Boylan oversaw the Bank’s entry into the New Jersey market in October last year and the Bank has seen overwhelming success there since the expansion was announced.
