Old Glory Tour to Honor Local Law Enforcement for National Police Week

Century Link America’s world flag tour, Old Glory Travels America’s Freedom Road, will salute local law enforcement departments in recognition of National Police Week, honoring their service to the community. The recognition salute will take place today at 9:15 a.m. this morning on the steps of the Chester County Historic Courthouse at High and Market streets in West Chester. Don’t miss the only flag that his been raised over Iowa Jima, Pearl Harbor, Oklahoma City, and Valley Forge.

Reduced Funding for State Universities Puts Lincoln University in Perilous Position

The funding of state universities has gone down by 33% over the last eight years, with the recent budget impasse only exacerbating the already dire situation in public higher education. This has prompted Lincoln University President, Richard Green, to join other state university leaders in writing an op-ed on PennLive.com warning legislators that unless the situation is resolved quickly, students, employees, and entire communities will be the ones who pay the price.     

Swiss Farms Announces Store to Shore Summer Promotion

Lincoln Hwy. in Exton. The event is on June 6th, starting with the ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:00 a.m.
