High Net Worth Investment Consultant

This position will manage/coordinate all non-web interactions of clients in assigned portfolio. He/she will manage and develop a thorough understanding of client base, prioritizing and managing rep-initiated interactions with clients and classifying them based on potential. The person will identify need for guidance/advice based on consultative dialogue with client.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and have at least two years of related work experience. He/she should have the ability to obtain Series 7 & Series 63 licensing within department guidelines. Exceptional client relationship management experience is required. Broad knowledge of Vanguard funds, products, and services and markets is preferred.

Public Relations Specialist

This position responds promptly to daily inquiries from the news media – including wire services, blogger, financial websites, newspapers, and personal finance/business publications – and acts as an accessible, responsive, credible, quotable, and resourceful spokesperson. He/she will handle incoming calls in a timely manner, and provides clear, candid, and accurate statements and/or background information to the media. The person will employ persuasion and influence skills effectively to maintain Vanguard’s image and reputation among media and shareholders and to promote Vanguard funds and services.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, communications, or PR, and have at least 10 years of experience, with five years in public relations or related area. He/she will have strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor. The person will also have the demonstrated ability to explain complex subject matter in plain English.

Developer – Teamsite

This position provides intermediate level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases. He/she will translate technical specifications, and/or logical and physical design into code for new or enhancement projects for internal clients. The person will also develop code that reuses subroutines or objects, is well structured, includes sufficient comments, and is easy to maintain.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, and have at least three years of developer or systems analyst experience. He/she should have strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
