Highway Design Specialist – West Chester
This position will assist in outside contact and communication pertaining to specific projects. He/she will prepare design computations, quantity estimates, and construction cost estimates for his/her projects within the team. The person will also assist in the analysis of field data, reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs to plan and design projects. Other responsibilities include obtaining, analyzing, and interpreting demographic and other regional transportation planning data.
The candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, and have Engineer in Training Certification. He/she must be experienced with CADD Software (Microstation or AutoCAD) and have excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
