Alliance Pharma logoBased in Malvern, Alliance Pharma is a Contract Research Organization (CRO) specializing in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetic (DMPK) and bioanalytical services for both small and large molecules. Its goal is to help clients through the process of taking a drug from pre-clinical/clinical trials to market as fast and as problem-free as possible.

Project Manager

This position acts as liaison between clients and various departments. He/she coordinates with different groups of personnel to prepare and issue study proposals. The person schedules upcoming projects, tracks the progress of ongoing projects, and works to ensure the timely, cost-efficient delivery of projects under tight timelines. He/she interacts with clients for project-specific discussions and prepares invoices for completed studies.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biology. He/she will have a minimum of three years of working experience in CROs, pharmaceutical companies, or academic institutions. The person must have experience in managing projects and excellent communication skills.

Biological Sample Coordinator

This position performs duties related to biological sample receiving. He/she receives incoming biological samples, records them, confirms their receipt, and organizes them. The person prepares inventory, monitors sample storage, and ships samples as needed. Other job duties will be assigned as required.

The ideal candidate will have a full understanding of regulatory compliance and adherence to Good Laboratory Practice guidelines and internal standard operating procedures. He/she will cooperate with QA, management, colleagues, and clients. The person will be detail-oriented, very responsible, and be able to work independently.

Laboratory Technician

This position performs routine laboratory work entailing sample receiving, sample extraction, and analysis using LC-MS/MS or ELISA. He/she engages in data processing, report writing, instrument maintenance, in vitro metabolism work, and daily lab organization. The person conducts bioanalysis while complying with regulations and following Good Laboratory Practice guidelines and internal standard operating procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biochemistry. Knowledge of SAS and/or SigmaPlot is a plus. He/she will be able to work independently and collaboratively. The person will be hard working, very responsible, and detail-oriented.
