Speed networking, the business equivalent of speed dating, is structured and fast-paced and allows participants to interact with others in a series of brief, one-on-one exchanges.

Devon Senior Living by Five Star and VISTA Today will host a speed-networking event benefiting Home of the Sparrow on Tuesday, Feb. 26 from 4-6 PM at the latter’s Five Star Senior Living facility, located at 445 North Valley Forge Road in Devon.

Aimed at business and nonprofit professionals in Chester and Delaware counties, the event will help participants make connections, form relationships, share opportunities, obtain leads and promote their own organizations and causes, all while introducing them to The Devon Senior Living’s facilities and services.

Cocktails and light refreshments will be served. Participants can expect to meet an average of 15-18 contacts during the two-hour event.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Home of the Sparrow, an Exton-based nonprofit that partners with women facing homelessness to secure housing, achieve long-term stability, and chart new paths for their futures.
