Santa at the American Helicopter Museum in West Chester.

A magical flight and Christmas goodie bags await good girls and boys this year as Santa Claus arrives via helicopter on Saturday, December 12, at West Chester’s American Helicopter Museum and Education Center (AHMEC), 1220 American Boulevard.

The excitement begins at 10 a.m. with face painting and cookie decorating. Santa and Mrs. Claus land at 11 a.m. accompanied by Elsa from Disney’s movie, “Frozen,” and one of Santa’s very special elves. Creating ornaments for a Charlie Brown Christmas tree adds to the fun that ends at 2 p.m.

Admission is $10.00 per person and includes a photo opportunity with Santa, so bring a camera! Helicopter rides cost $60.00 per person on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Memberships are currently on sale at a special holiday price of $10.00 off of each level until December 31, 2015. The purchase of a membership includes SantaFest admission.

Contact AHMEC at 610-436-9600 or see the website at www.americanhelicopter.museum for more information and to purchase SantaFest advance tickets or Memberships.
