Head Swim Coach

The Jennersville YMCA is looking for a part-time Head Swim Team Coach at the Jennersville YMCA. Working under the direction of the Aquatic Director, the Head Swim Team Coach will oversee the short and long course seasons, as well as the Fall and Spring clinics.

Once hired, the coach will determine training levels for swimmers, supervise all part-time coaches and oversee the team’s Parent Advisory Committee as well as assist in the development of a yearly goal plan for the Competitive Swim Program including scheduling of all swim meets and practices under seasonal schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a four-year college degree or a minimum of two years of on deck coaching experience in a progressive competitive aquatic program as well as strong interpersonal and communications (written and verbal) skills. The coach should be decisive and proficient at conflict resolution. A USA Swimming Coach Certification in good standing is a plus.
