Herr’s is showing its support for National Autism Awareness Month by offering a special limited edition snack throughout April. The product on offer is ribbon shaped Whole Grain Pretzels with Flax Seeds and Honey, packaged in a very attractive puzzle patterned bag. Herr’s will make a 5 cent donation to the Autism Society for each bag sold.
The Autism Society is the nation’s leading Autism organization and provides the latest information on treatment, education, research and advocacy. Ed Herr, President of Herr Foods, headquartered in Nottingham, PA, said “We are proud to support the Autism Society, which is essential in the improving the lives of individuals with Autism across their lifespan and increasing awareness of the cause.”
In addition to being tasty, the limited edition snack is also low in fat, a healthy source of whole grain and higher in fiber than most other pretzels. They are only available this month and can be bought online and at select retailers nationwide.
