Chaya Scott, executive director of the Coatesville Youth Initiative, is the granddaughter of Norman Bond, a civil rights activist and local entrepreneur who is still remembered in Chester County.
Scott recently spoke with the Daily Local News about her work, which is part of the Brandywine Health Foundation. The independent nonprofit organization trains youth leaders, enhances family relationships, and builds community.
