BioTelemetry Saw A Year Of Growth, Record Revenue

Malvern’s remote cardiac monitoring firm, BioTelemetry, is asking shareholders of a competitor to tender shares for a $257 million deal.

2.23.2014 Biotelemetry22014 was a successful year for Biotelemetry, Inc. of Malvern. The company reached revenue of $166.6 million, the highest in the company’s history and an increase of 29 percent over 2013.

“We generated excellent organic revenue growth and benefitted from the acquisitions of Mednet and BMS,” said Joseph Capper, president and CEO. “We also made considerable progress advancing our key strategic objectives.”

Capper predicts momentum will continue into 2015 as the firm launches two cardiac monitoring devices, CardioKey and MCOTTM.

“Both advancements will further solidify our technological leadership position in remote monitoring,” said Capper. “In our Research Services segment, we expect solid top line growth with some of the largest studies in the company’s history scheduled to begin later this year.

The wireless medical technology company provides cardiac monitoring services, original equipment manufacturing, and centralized cardiac core laboratory services.
