Victory Brewing Company's Parkesburg facility.

Victory Brewing Company’s newest brewpub, Victory at Magnolia, will open in early 2015, and even though the tables aren’t quite set, Victory fans are already buzzing about Chef Owen Kolva’s menu and the brewpub’s location at the newly constructed Magnolia Place at 650 W. Cypress St. in downtown Kennett Square.

Victory says its new restaurant will source local ingredients, maintain high service standards and sustain green initiatives. On the menu that philosophy will be dished up in selections such as a hand-tossed pretzel with spicy Hop Devil beer cheese, and a Kennett portobello mushroom sandwich. Look for fresh, seasonal changes.

A seven-barrel brewery will be on-site featuring exclusive rotating selections of Kennett brewed beer, along with local wines, Victory Rootbeer, and home-made lemonade and ice tea.

Kolva is a Culinary Institute of America graduate with a style rooted in classic French cuisine.  Read his profile here.

“This is a great opportunity, for me as a chef and for Victory,” Kolva says. “It’s a chance for us to step up our game and be a serious player in the food scene.”

The brewpub and retail space will occupy all 8,234 square feet of the bottom floor of Kennett Realty’s Magnolia Place. The four-story, luxury apartment, townhome and retail community is owned and operated by the Pia Group, who also own Kaolin Mushroom Farms Inc. and South Mill Mushroom Sales.
