A pair of multi-million-dollar contracts to build components for the new G500/600 business jet are taking off for Berwyn’s global aerospace supplier, Triumph Group, Inc.
The deals include a $250 million contract with Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.. for the production of wing structure components and an $80 million contract with UTC Aerospace Systems for the production of a nose wheel steering system, according to a Business Wire announcement.
“These awards are important wins for Triumph, strengthening our long-term relationships with Gulfstream and UTC Aerospace Systems and building our presence in the business jet market,” President and CEO Jeffry D. Frisby said in the article. “We are excited by our participation on Gulfstream’s new family of business jets and look forward to supporting this program for many years to come.”
