Wayne Loses Corporate HQ Of Gardner Denver Over CEO Flexibility

Hopping on the bandwagon of bending over backwards to accommodate C-level executives, an industrial pump maker not only lost its Wayne headquarters but the very CEO it was catering to in a recent episode of flexibility gone awry.

Gardner Denver Inc. set up a new satellite office when it named Milwaukee resident Tim Sullivan CEO last year and even agreed this April to move its entire headquarters to Milwaukee, The Wall Street Journal reported. He never saw that move completed, as he quit June 4.

Now Gardner Denver’s new CEO, a Floridian, is working out of Milwaukee with no plans for a Florida office.
