Victory Beer Is Victorious and Seasonal

The past few weeks have been full of excitement at Victory Brewing Company.

Victory’s Golden Monkey won a Gold Medal at the 28th Annual Great American Beer Festival in Denver, the largest commercial beer competition in the world. Golden Monkey beat out 58 entries in the Belgian-Style Tripel category from across the United States.

Though locals and Victory enthusiasts know Golden Monkey as one of Victory Brewing’s flagship beers, the Great American Beer Festival recognition finds the Golden Monkey brand on a significant ascent in which it became Victory’s top selling brand in early 2014, amongst a strong portfolio of growing brands.

“Our magical, mystical Golden Monkey has delighted fans for nearly 18 years, enriching their lives with flavorful memories and experiences,” said Victory’s President and Brewmaster, Bill Covaleski. “To see it persuade professional judges in the cold light of national competition is a real testament to its charming character.”

One of Victory’s emerging brands is their seasonal beer, Winter Cheers.

Winter Cheers is a refreshing wheat ale that is light in body and smooth in texture.  Whether you are deciding what to pair with Thanksgiving dinner or hors d’oevres for a Holiday cocktail party, Victory Brewing Company’s Winter Cheers has a fruity and spicy flavor profile that is an excellent alternative to wine or champagne.

Combining German wheat and barley malts, oats, wheat and two varieties of whole flower hops, the fruity winter beer offers a crisp finish, with spicy hints of banana, clove and citrus.  At 6.7% ABV, Winter Cheers lives up to its name, promoting festive times and chasing away winter’s chill.

Victory’s winter seasonal is expected to be on shelves throughout the brewery’s 35-state distribution footprint from late October 2014 to early January 2015, and will be available both on draught and in 6-packs.
