Weston Solutions Appoints Alan J. Solow President And CEO
Alan J. Solow is the new president and chief executive officer of Weston Solutions, Inc., an employee-owned environmental solutions firm with an office in West Chester,
The announcement was recently made by parent company Weston Solutions Holdings, Inc. Solow replaces retiring president and CEO William L. Robertson, who was elected chairman of Weston’s board of directors. Previous chairman George MacKenzie will continue to be lead outside director of the board.
Solow was formerly associated with Weston for two decades and was appointed to Weston’s board in April. He most recently spent two years as CEO of Cabrera Services, Inc., a leader in characterization and environmental remediation of radiological contamination. Cabrera diversified to serve new clients under Solow’s leadership.
“I am pleased to welcome Alan back to the company as president and CEO,” said MacKenzie. “Alan is a true leader whose 30-year background and personal experience with Weston combined to make him the clear choice to guide us into the future.”
MacKenzie also thanked Robertson for his unwavering commitment to Weston.
Solow said he is focused on clients’ needs and is committed to increasing value for employees, clients and shareholders.
Weston serves federal, commercial, state and local clients in providing environmental response, remediation and infrastructure improvement. The firm is located at 1400 Weston Way, West Chester.
