Hunt has more than 30 years of experience in executive, operational and financial leadership. Earlier this month the firm also announced Peter A. Luukko joined Philly Sports Holdings as chairman of the board.

The company specializes in distributing autographed sports memorabilia and organizing exclusive events for sports fans to meet professional athletes.

“I am extremely pleased to announce Bill’s addition to our company,” said Pat Waters, president and CEO of Philly Sports Holdings.

“Bill has extensive knowledge and experience in financial and operational leadership at both private and public companies. His expertise will serve us well as we undertake the challenge of growing our business into a leading athlete event services and sports memorabilia company.”

Hunt will handle strategic financial management of the company, including driving a capital raise that will be instrumental in the company’s near-term growth strategy. Philly Sports is expanding its technology division and is planning the launch of “Sports Vault Access” to give sports fans one-of-a-kind access to professional athletes through meet-and-greet events.

Hunt has an MBA from Widener University and has worked with private, public, small cap and Fortune 500 companies. He is a consultant to and member of the board of directors of Penn Treaty American Corporation.

Philly Sports Holdings distributes autographed sports memorabilia through its e-commerce website SportsVaultShop.com and retail locations at the King of Prussia, Moorestown, and Exton Square Malls.
