Sports Vault, an Exton company that deals in autographed sports memorabilia and connects fans with pro athletes has just added a star player at the top of its lineup.
Philly Sports Holdings, operator of Sports Vault and Strategic Sports Marketing, has signed Peter Luukko, the former longtime president and COO of the company that owns the Philadelphia Flyers, Comcast-Spectacor, as board chairman.
The move to hire Luukko comes just as Sports Vault prepares to launch an exclusive pro meet-and-greet access program, according to a Philadelphia Business Journal report.
“Peter’s expertise in the professional sports management and marketing arena is unparalleled, and he will be a tremendous asset to our leadership team as we pursue our goal of becoming the preeminent company in athlete event services and sports memorabilia retail,” Philly Sports Holdings President and CEO Pat Waters said in the article.
Luukko is also an investor in Sports Vault.
