The editors of Engineering Design News China think the passive components and sensors made by Malvern-based Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. are best in the world, and recently selected the company for an EDN China First 10 Years of Innovation Award.
The honor was in the Best Products (2005-2014) category for passive components and sensors. The innovation awards recognize achievements in the design of ICs and related products for the Chinese market and has grown to become one of the China Mainland’s most anticipated and respected accolades for the electronics design industry. Vishay has been honored more times in this category than any other manufacturer.

Awards were given at the 2014 EDN China Innovation Awards Ceremony on June 26 in Shanghai.
Vishay is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of discrete semiconductors (diodes, MOSFETs, and infrared optoelectronics) and passive electronic components (resistors, inductors, and capacitors).
