Ametek Announces Two Personnel Changes
AMETEK, Inc. of Berwyn recently announced two personnel changes.
The firm’s board of directors elected Robert J. Amodei vice president of Audit Services. He most recently was director of Operational Accounting in AMETEK’s corporate office.
Frank S. Hermanace, AMETEK chairman and chief executive officer, said Amodei was instrumental in overseeing AMETEK’s compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and has played a key role in the company’s acquisition due diligence process.
Amodei joined AMETEK in 1989. He was formerly division vice president and controller, Floorcare and Specialty Motors, North America, and promoted to director of Operational Accounting in 2005.
AMETEK also appointed Kurtis L. Goos vice president and general manager, Engineered Medical Components, within AMETEK’s Engineered Materials, Interconnects and Packaging (EMIP) Division. Most recently Goos was worldwide general manager of Digital Output Solutions.
Hermanace said Goos’ management and business development experience will be an asset to AMETEK as it grows its medical components business.
Also this week AMETEK declared a regular quarterly dividend of nine cents per share for the third quarter ending Sept. 30. The dividend is payable Sept. 30 to shareholders of record.
AMETEK is a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electro-mechanical devices with sales of $3.6 billion in 2013.
