Another wave of rock and roll, country music, bluegrass tunes, creative crafts and festive food and drink is headed to Kerr Park in Downingtown Friday night for this month’s edition of the Downingtown Summer Jam Series.

More than 700 attendees are anticipated for the 6 to 10 p.m. event at the park’s Concert Gazebo.

“It’s great to see the community supporting us and catching on to this event,” Summer Jam Coordinator Phil Mascherino said.

While the beer flows from Station Taproom and the new addition of Pottstown distiller Manatawny Still Works, the music will flow from acoustic musician Kenny Lawson, singer-songwriter Robb Balchunas, young talent Sam Schmidthuber and local classic rock groups Free Range and The Billy Penn Band.

Serving up great food will be The Happy Pita, St. Anthony’s Restaurant, Mompops and J-Dogs Catering.

The three-part Summer Jam Series is supported by sponsors Kimberton Whole Foods; E. Kahn Development Co.; Bruton Financial; Synergema Digital Marketing; Green Mountain Energy; Mattioni Plumbing, Heating & Cooling; Downingtown Collision; and Moose Lodge No. 1153.
