At noon on Tuesday, March 1, Radley Run Country Club in West Chester will break ground on its most ambitious project — a new clubhouse — since the club’s founding in 1965.

The new clubhouse will be located directly behind the 18th green and is the key element in what the country club is calling the Radley Run Renaissance, which carries a price tag of $8.5 million.

Radley Run features 18 holes of championship golf, 12 courts for racquet sports, a pool, and several historic buildings that predate the Revolutionary War.

Radley Run made national news last summer for a run of four holes-in-one from Aug. 11-14. Two of the four happened on the same day.

Andy Kornick aced the 13th hole from 135 yards with an eight-iron, while Keith Walter aced the same hole with a nine-iron.

Jerry Shanahan used a three-wood from 230 yards out to ace the fourth hole. Meanwhile, Terry Russell muscled up his driver from 150 yards on the 11th hole.
