Golf Digest Names Malvern-Based Instructor One of the Sport’s Best Young Teachers

Golf Digest has recognized Nick Iacono of the Chester Valley Golf Club as one of the sport's best young teachers.

Nick Iacono, the Director of Player Development at the Chester Valley Golf Club in Malvern, is among the sport’s best young teachers, according to a new list published by Golf Digest.

The magazine’s annual Best Young Teachers in America highlights the most talented golf instructors under the age of 40.

Prior to his work at Chester Valley, Iacono, 32, was the Director of Instruction at Elmwood Country Club in White Plains, N.Y.

“I am beyond grateful to be selected as a Golf Digest Best Young Teacher in America,” Iacono wrote. “I would like to thank my family, friends, and all my fellow golf professionals who helped me along the way. I will continue to expand my knowledge for the game, while inspiring others to play and improve.”

A native of Hockessin, Del., Iacono golfed at Elizabethtown College.
