Blue Bell
Blue Bell is a census-designated place in Whitpain Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It is known for its affluent neighborhoods, executive-style mansions, and major business parks.
The area is home to the headquarters of Unisys and Aetna, as well as the Montgomery County Community College. Blue Bell was originally known as Pigeontown, named after the large flocks of passenger pigeons that once gathered there.
In 1840, it was renamed after the historically prominent Blue Bell Inn. The community offers a blend of suburban tranquility and modern amenities, making it a desirable place to live and work.
