Sheet music retailer J.W. Pepper has launched Cued In, a new social networking site for musicians and music professionals.

Users may submit articles, comment on articles submitted by others, or join a group of like-minded members. Take a look at the site here.
Jen Tolnay, social media supervisor for J.W. Pepper, said the firm wanted to create a vibrant community for customers – a place where they may collect news stories of interest to musicians, and a venue for contributing content and exchanging ideas.
The site is being beta tested by a number of new users who will be asked to fill out a survey about their experience and these will be used to perfect the site.
J.W. Pepper says it has also updated its web site to give online shoppers a smoother shopping experience. Pepper, which has been in business for more than 130 years, was one of the first sheet music retailers to use the internet to reach customers.
The firm caters to individual musicians as well as to choruses, bands, orchestras, schools and church choirs. Pepper also offers fundraising programs for music groups.
