The Philadelphia Business Journal has released its annual Best Places to Work list, with 80 companies making this year’s list. Among the “large” and “extra-large” category companies, Chester County businesses show up time and again, as Lara Schwartz writes for the publication.
PBJ partners with Quantum Workplace to determine the top employers in Greater Philadelphia. Businesses are chosen based on surveys sent to workers at nominated companies, which contain questions related to benefits, compensation, leadership, and more.
The list is divided into five categories depending on size, including micro, small, medium, large, and extra-large based on number of employees.
In the large category, two Chester County area companies are among finalists.
Bala Consulting Engineers Inc in Wayne works as a multi-industry engineering, technology, and sustainability design company.
Also in Wayne, Stephano Slack LLC is an accounting and advisory firm.
One Chester County company made the extra-large category. Since 2004, Green Lawn Fertilizing/Green Pest Solutions in West Chester has specialized in lawn care services.
At a Stateside Live! event on July 23, PBJ will reveal the top three highest-ranked companies in each category.
