When it comes to putting people first, S&T Bank’s partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) is the value in action.
Now in its fourth year, S&T’s Lemonade Days fundraiser runs May 30 through June 6, 2026, with lemonade stands at S&T locations across Western, Central, and Southeastern Pennsylvania — and in Columbus, Ohio. Since the Bank first hosted Lemonade Days in Central Pennsylvania in 2023 and expanded Bank-wide in 2024, employees, customers, and community members have raised nearly half a million dollars to support ALSF’s mission to change the lives of children with cancer.
“As we enter our fourth year of hosting lemonade stands, our employees’ enthusiasm seems to continually expand, producing remarkable results across our footprint,” said Jason Forman, S&T Bank’s Chief Consumer and Business Banking Officer. “With the help of our customers and communities, S&T has consistently been able to exceed our fundraising goals to help children and families affected by childhood cancer. I’m hopeful this year will be another outstanding week for such a worthwhile cause.”
Jodi Presloid, S&T’s Director of Branch Banking, points to the people behind the numbers: “To think that we’ve raised nearly $250,000 in just three years is proof positive of our people-forward purpose having a real impact on the lives of others. This fundraiser is an example of our values in action, and I can’t wait to see the energy, kindness, and generosity that our 2026 Lemonade Days will bring to life.”
The Story Behind the Stand
ALSF honors the legacy of Alexandra (Alex) Scott, who at just four years old began raising money for childhood cancer research — while battling the disease herself. Before her passing in 2004, Alex had reached her goal of raising $1 million, inspiring a movement that has never stopped growing. To date, ALSF has raised more than $300 million and is the largest independent childhood cancer charity in the United States.
“We are so grateful to S&T Bank for their continued support of children fighting cancer,” said Liz Scott, Alex’s mom and Co-Executive Director of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. “For the fourth year, S&T Bank’s commitment shines through in the awareness they bring to their communities throughout Pennsylvania and Ohio. We are honored to have them join us in making an impact for children and families fighting pediatric cancer.”
