Chester County Recent Home Sales Among Priciest in Philadelphia Region

Recent home sales in Chester County are among the priciest in the Philadelphia region.

The Philadelphia Business Journal staff has compiled a list of the priciest home sales in the Philadelphia region as of May 8, and some Chester County homes are on top.

Last week, four Chester County sales were among the top 10 highest-priced homes, alongside Montgomery and Philadelphia County sales.

At No. 1, 292 Church Road in Devon sold for $3.3 million, more than double what the seller paid for it last year. The Main Line property was bought for $1.45 million in May 2025 and remodeled by Wayne-based Great Oak Custom Homes.

The home was sold in an off-market listing, a practice that is becoming more common especially in more affluent neighborhoods.

At No. 3, Troutbeck Farm Developers LLC sold 204 Walnut Tree Lane in Malvern for $2.2 million.

Donna Marie Thornton and Timothy J. Thornton sold their Wayne home at 825 Springbank Lane for $1.86 million, landing at No. 6.

The final Chester County home came in at No. 8. Denise M. Glennon and Gary Haubold sold 3 Greenstone Way in Malvern for $1.6 million.
