What began as a neighborhood tradition has grown into something much bigger. On Friday, June 26, from 3-7:00 PM, Chester County OIC’s Annual Block Party moves to Gateway Park in Coatesville (22 Lincoln Highway) — creating more space, more energy, and more opportunity for the community to come together.

Each year, the Block Party connects families, residents, employers, and community partners through food, entertainment, resources, prizes, and celebration. The expanded event reflects the growing impact of Chester County OIC and the strong partnerships helping adults and families across the region build brighter futures.

Mobility Theme

This year’s theme focuses on mobility — specifically how transportation access affects employment opportunities and economic advancement. Attendees will learn about solutions offered through Chester County OIC and community partners, including Driver’s Education programming, workforce transportation support, and assistance navigating DMV-related barriers.

There’s also something exciting in the works behind the scenes — an added highlight that will bring even more buzz to the day (stay tuned for that announcement). At its core, the Chester County OIC mission remains steady: supporting more than 1,000 adults as they work toward brighter, more stable futures for themselves and their families.

Chester County OIC is committed to creating pathways to economic mobility through adult education, workforce training, and professional development,” said Javonna Wylie, President and CEO of Chestser County OIC. “Too many talented individuals face barriers to employment simply because they lack access to transportation, training, or support systems. This event brings the community together around solutions, opportunity, and hope.”

Admission is free, but attendees must register to participate, and can do so here.
