Chester County Homes Among Top Ten Recent Sales in Region

Chester County accounted for half of the ten most expensive home sales in the Philadelphia region last week, including one sale that exceeded $2 million.

Chester County accounted for half of the ten most expensive home sales in the Philadelphia region last week, according to a staff report from the Philadelphia Business Journal

Topping the list for Chester County and securing the second spot regionally was 152 Grubb Road in Malvern, which changed hands for $2.48 million. The sellers were Henry Yordan and Claudia M. Yordan. 

Next in the county and third overall is 1148 Shadow Oak Drive in Malvern, selling for $2 million. Thomas B. Daniels and Lynn Albright Daniels were the sellers. 

The third-highest sale in Chester County and the fifth-highest across the region was the $1.58 million transaction at 131 Devon Road in Paoli, with Paul B. Acton and Melissa C. Acton acting as sellers. 

Taking fourth place in the county and sixth in the region, 2220 Bodine Road in Malvern sold for $1.55 million, listed with sellers Heather Wills and Francis Reed Wills. 

Finally, the fifth-ranked sale in Chester County, which also came in eighth regionally, was 20 Fox Ridge Drive in Malvern, closing at $1.5 million. Paul M. Coady and Janet F. Coady were the sellers.
