Ardmore Toyota Provides Free Repairs to Grieving Mother’s Cherished Vehicle

Sharon Khan, who runs the Elora J Khan Foundation received an unexpected helping hand with her vehicle from Ardmore Toyota.

Sharon Khan, who runs the Elora J Khan Foundation, named after her late daughter, received an unexpected helping hand with her vehicle from Ardmore Toyota, reports Nick Iadonisi for 6abc.

The foundation supports families with children battling brain cancer, while also hosting events, honoring local educators, offering scholarships, and organizing sporting events, among many other activities.

Khan encountered issues with a vehicle that holds deep sentimental value for her due to memories of her daughter. Elora lost her life to DIGP.

“That was the last car she sat in before a rush to the hospital…before her passing,” said Khan. “It is also where I have cried and sobbed as a parent and just rebuilt myself. It just means that much to me. It’s not just a car. This car tells my story. It tells my child’s story.”

Ardmore Toyota stepped in and ensured all repairs were completed free of charge.

“She had some prior concerns on her transmission, something just spoke to me to get involved with it,” said Parts & Service Director at Ardmore Toyota, Joshua Fletcher. “Called some favors into corporate. They helped us out.”
