Here are four local pizza shops where you can grab delicious takeout pizza perfect for a cozy winter night in.
Pica’s Restaurant—West Chester. One of the most beloved spots in Chester and Delaware Counties, Pica’s offers delicious thin-crust pizza perfect for takeout. With sauce-on-top pizzas in addition to pastas, sandwiches, and seafood entrees, this local spot is the perfect one-stop-shop for any holiday gathering.
Joey’s Pizza—Thorndale. For a classic crispy pie with the perfect balance of sauce and cheese, look no further than Joey’s Pizza. While it’s known for its classic charred slices, Joey’s also offers cheesesteaks, hoagies, salads, and tomato pie.
Johnny’s Pizza—Wayne. Located in Wayne’s Strafford Shopping Center, The Keystone named Johnny’s Pizza as one of the best pizzerias in the greater Philly region. The signature pies feature a slightly spicy sauce and can be ordered round or square. Additional menu items include stromboli, sandwiches, and the fan-favorite white pizza complete with caramelized onions and seasoned ricotta.
Santucci’s Pizza—Paoli. With locations throughout Philadelphia and New Jersey, Santucci’s has offered delicious sauce-on-top pies since 1959. Pizzas range from traditional pies to a wide range of unique toppings. The shop also offers gluten free menu items and catering options perfect for a larger gathering.
