Specialty materials company Arkema is consolidating its company into space in Radnor and King of Prussia after putting its Exton laboratory and office building up for sale, writes Paul Schwedelson for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Located in the Oaklands Corporate Center, the four-acre property holds 12 labs, and offices take up the rest of the 41,000-square-foot building.
A part of the France-based Arkema Group, Arkema’s North American headquarters recently relocated to Radnor. In an effort to bring its different departments closer together, the consolidation makes for easier communication, teamwork, and collaboration between its business and research and development teams.
Business operations have already moved to Radnor, while 30 employees from research and development will head to King of Prussia after the building’s renovation is completed in 2026.
“We wanted [teams] together,” said Tony O’Donovan, CEO of Arkema Inc. “This was just good timing to execute to able to execute that project and bring everyone in under one roof.”
