Certified Nurse’s Aide
This position will care for residents in a nursing home or other medical facility under the direction of the nursing and medical staff. Essential duties include receiving assignments from the Charge Nurse, bathing and dressing residents, assisting with meals, toilet needs, and mobility needs, and providing other care.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and a valid Nurse Aide Certification. Candidates should have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to be detail-oriented and to follow necessary protocols for certain situations. Additional education towards a nursing degree and six or more months of job-related experience is preferred.

Corrections Officer
This position is responsible for providing care, custody, and control of inmates at a county correctional institution or facility, directing inmate activities and maintaining security in cellblocks, housing units, work areas, dining and recreation areas, and observing inmates in any areas needed. Other duties include the ability to work with high-risk populations in confined areas and analyze situations and problems and provide appropriate solutions.
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and will be able to pass relevant background checks, clearances, physicals, drug tests, and any other assessments. Candidates should be able to use a personal computer and various software packages, and easily adapt to changes in the work environment. A criminal justice background or being a Department of Corrections Training Academy is preferred.

Registered Nurse – Part Time
This position provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care to residents in a skilled nursing setting, with part-time scheduling requirements that must be met. Duties involve assessing residents for pain and administering medications as ordered, performing all aspects of resident care, collecting samples, completing written documentation and assessments, and communicating residents’ status and/or needs to the supervisor physician.
The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree and a registered RN license, as well as a CPR certification. Candidates should have six months to one year of job-related experience, the ability to work independently, and be able to maintain confidential information. Knowledge of Pennsylvania state regulations and the geriatric population is preferred.
