Whether you prefer a locally raised bird from a nearby farm or an organic option from a trusted grocer, Chester County offers some fresh, flavorful choices. Here’s where to pre-order your Thanksgiving turkey and a few sweet sides, too.
Kimberton Whole Foods sources its organic turkeys from Koch’s Turkey Farm, ranging from 8 to 18 pounds. Prices run $4.99 a pound. In addition to turkeys, be sure to pick up some cranberry sauce, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and more. Pre-orders are open until November 20, in person and online. Pickup dates are Nov. 25 and 26.
While Linvilla Orchards sits in Delaware County, you can call ahead to reserve your turkey from Linvilla’s Chester County family farm.
Both breasts and whole turkeys are available for $4.99 and $7.99, respectively. Offerings range from 10 to 30 pounds, and pickup is available until Thanksgiving morning. On top of turkeys, other Thanksgiving classics at the farm include pies, breads, stuffing, and more. Pre-order until Nov. 20.
