Safe Harbor of Chester County will host a series of community events from November 15–22, 2025, in recognition of National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week, a nationwide initiative aimed at raising awareness, inspiring compassion, and encouraging meaningful action to support people experiencing homelessness.
The week-long schedule features educational gatherings, community resource sharing, creative advocacy activities, and fundraising events hosted in collaboration with local partners, volunteers, and supporters.
“Homelessness is not simply the absence of housing — it’s the absence of stability, support, and opportunity,” said Jessica Chappell, Executive Director of Safe Harbor of Chester County. “This week reminds us that every person deserves dignity and a pathway forward. Our community has the power to be that pathway.”
