If you’re an HR professional, recognizing top talent is one of your most powerful moves — and nominating an employee for VISTA NextGen Superstars is a smart, strategic step.
VISTA Today is ready to spotlight Chester County’s rising leaders through the seventh annual VISTA NextGen Superstars initiative. Each year, the celebration honors standout professionals under the age of 40 who are shaping the future of our region with energy, creativity, and a deep commitment to community.
VISTA NextGen Superstars recognizes individuals who live or work in Chester County — or who attend a Chester County-based educational institution — and demonstrate exceptional achievement in their field. Nominees should be 39 or younger as of April 30, 2026 and show a clear record of leadership, innovation, and positive impact.
Here’s why your HR team should act now:
- Nomination signals to high-performing staff that their contributions matter. That kind of recognition strengthens engagement, reinforces company values, and boosts retention. Instead of waiting for annual reviews, this visibility accelerates acknowledgment.
- Nominations highlight your organization’s commitment to developing people and elevating emerging leadership. When an employee is featured as a VISTA NextGen Superstar, your company gains visibility in the community and fosters its employer brand. The recognition isn’t just individual; it reflects on the institution behind it.
- The timing aligns perfectly with performance-culture goals. The nomination process opens now and builds toward the awards reception in spring, meaning you have a tangible goal to rally around, and a platform to celebrate success publicly.
- Participating in VISTA NextGen Superstars connects your organization to the broader regional ecosystem. The Awards Reception & Celebration is the premier networking event of the year in Chester County and provides partnership opportunities and a chance to align your workforce strategy with community leadership.
Nominations will be accepted through Jan. 23, and anyone can submit one — whether you’re recognizing an employee, colleague, client, friend, or even yourself.
Honorees will be revealed beginning Feb. 10, with full individual profiles debuting on VISTA Today starting March 2.
VISTA NextGen Superstars culminates on Thursday, April 30 with the Awards Reception & Celebration at the Penn State Great Valley Conference Center.
As in previous years, a portion of event proceeds will benefit a local nonprofit. This year’s recipient is Chester County OIC, the Coatesville-based organization that advances education and workforce development through adult-learning programs, job-readiness training, and re-entry support that helps individuals build lasting stability and success.
