The following positions are available:
Community Case Manager/Sanitation Worker
The Behavioral Sanitation Worker will work with a Lincoln Center counselor, a caseworker,
and hoarding clients to address clients’ home cleanliness in a therapeutic manner.
The Behavioral Sanitation Worker must be comfortable working in extreme clutter situations while being sensitive
and understanding that it is difficult for a hoarder to part with belongings.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
• Collect and move trash and debris from Chester County homes that are hoarding environments and
have extreme disorganization and clutter.
• Perform light maintenance and minor repair work.

Community Counselor
The Community Counselor, working out of Montgomery County, provides in-home individual, family, and group counseling
services with an emphasis on trauma-informed care.
Primary areas for counseling include parenting issues, therapy with young children and teens, life skills development, supervised visitation, intervention on drug and alcohol issues, and work with children and adults who have been abused physically, sexually or emotionally.
Trauma-focused therapy and case management with victims of crime in home and school settings, with an emphasis on trauma-informed care.
Counselors must be able and willing to accept a variety of assignments and integrate their work with other TLC
programs and community services.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling services in the areas identified in the Job Summary. This service may be provided in the office, at home, or in school settings.
• Meet the specific requirements for TLC counseling positions and follow policies and procedures for those positions; Office of Children and Youth cases, and drug and alcohol counseling.
• Advocate for individuals and family members with health care professionals, legal personnel, service agencies, county departments, and others who are in a position to assist the persons receiving services.
• Monitor the progress of each client through the maintenance of appropriate case records and statistics on the service provided.
• Assist in the planning and revision of programs and help with departmental tasks.
• Provide outreach and facilitate inter-organizational cooperation with community agencies, schools, county services, healthcare professionals, and community groups.
• Attend education/training on topics related to counseling duties.
• Oversee and be responsible for the gathering and reporting of data as required by contracts,
grants, or certifying bodies.
Skills: Knowledge of multiple therapeutic modalities such as CBT, motivational interviewing,
trauma expertise, substance abuse intervention expertise, and excellent collaboration skills.
This job operates in home settings, school environments, and office environments.
This is a part-time or full-time job that requires evening work as well as the sudden need for crisis intervention. Use of a reliable car is necessary for travel to service sites such as homes and schools throughout Montgomery County.

Education and Experience: Minimum of an Associate’s Degree preferred. A minimum of two years of related experience, including knowledge of work with children, families, child abuse, and counseling with persons at high risk for drug and alcohol abuse.

ELL (English Language Learner) Teacher
The ELL Teacher provides academic instruction and socioemotional support to at-risk youth, grades 7-12, in an alternative school setting in the Chester area.
In an open, small classroom environment, the teacher must demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in serving the individualized instructional needs of the students assigned to the class.
The teacher must be able to work in a team environment with other educators, special education staff, counselors, and social
workers.
The teacher should possess a high degree of authenticity, kindness, and empathy while effectively maintaining a classroom atmosphere conducive to academic and socioemotional growth.
The ELL teacher helps students learning English as an additional language by providing instruction, collaborating with other educators, assessing progress, and ensuring compliance with educational regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Facilitate Learning
o Develop a classroom culture where the Teacher is viewed as a “facilitator” of the learning process and not a “lecturer.”
o Plans, prepares, and implements lesson plans that facilitate active learning.
o Provides personalized support to each student to develop learning plans that match each student’s needs and abilities.
o Utilizes Project-Based Learning (PBL) techniques.
o Leverages technology to support and differentiate instruction.
o Develops a multi-sensory learning environment.
o Teach English language development lessons.
o Work with classroom teachers and specialists to support ELL students.
o Assess student progress using tests and evaluations.
o Advocate for ELL students and act as a liaison between the school and families.
o Complete required documentation for compliance with regulations.
Facilitate Socioemotional Development
o Provides diverse opportunities to develop and enhance students’ social and emotional skills.
o Promotes the overall wellness (physical, mental, social, emotional) of each student.
Conduct Assessments
o Assigns and grades classwork, homework, tests, and assignments.
o Monitors the progress of individual students and uses information to adjust facilitation strategies.
o Maintains accurate and complete records of students’ progress.
Develop Positive Classroom Culture
o Builds positive, compassionate classroom communities that engage learners.
o Implements evidence-based classroom management and positive behavior support strategies.
Other Duties
o Actively participates in department, school, district, and parent meetings.
o Initiates and maintains close contact with parents/guardians of each student.
o Communicates information regularly to students, parents, and districts regarding student progress and student needs.
o Updates all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, district policies, and school regulations.
o Assesses, records, and reports on the development, progress, goal attainment, and behavior of students.
o Attends meetings as scheduled and necessary with counselors, other staff, and other members of the Public-School District.
